I had this crew come to the house for a diagnostic. In the end it turned out I needed to replace the unit. These dudes killed it. They were the best price around and their work was great. They replaced the entire unit and hooked up my new smart thermostat. They really went above and beyond to make sure the heating and cooling worked. To make sure I set up the thermostat, the app on my phone, and knew how to use it. I have a second unit that is 20+ years old which I'm sure will need replacing soon. I will definitely go with these dudes again. Highly recommend. They came through right before the summer heat and didn't charge me an arm and a leg for it. Tami the receptionist was also great and was constantly in contact with me. ~ Nestor

With the hot weather upon us I called Folsom Lake Heating & Air for an estimate on a tuneup of our A/C condensers as their YELP reviews were very impressive! The cost for the tuneup was very reasonable and they were able to schedule an appointment the next day. Clayton arrived on time and not only performed diagnostics but throughly cleaned each unit. After spending over 2 hours, Clayton provided a detailed analysis of each unit which were also backed up by photos of each diagnostic test. I appreciated that there was no "hard sell" by Clayton for replacement capacitors that he mentioned should eventually be addressed on one of the units! I feel that we had found an HVAC company that we can trust! ~ Grant W

We had such a great experience with Folsom Lake Heating & Air! They were able to schedule service so quickly after I called and completed all the necessary repairs within less than a week. The office staff was amazing—friendly, responsive, and helpful every step of the way. Tami, especially was an absolute joy.The technicians who came out were kind, respectful, and professional, and they left everything spotless when they were done. It’s been tough finding an HVAC company willing to work in the small space we have, but they didn’t hesitate and handled it with ease. These folks are beyond great and I completely recommend. I may have gotten maybe 6 or 7 quotes for a new HVAC unit and even though this company's quote wasn't the lowest I gravitated towards them anyway, but thankfully James was able to really help us out as far as pricing goes. James, Tammy, Clayton and Paul were an absolutely amazing team to work with. The communication was always quick and clear and all interactions felt genuine and not rushed. I never felt any pressure to go one way over the other and installation day was fast and easy. I'm now enjoying a cool, clean 76 degree temperature inside my home and couldn't be happier. These guys are the real deal! I was in the middle of an urgent real estate transaction and needed HVAC inspection and repair fast. Folsom Lake Heating and Air were the first to respond — even after normal business hours — and had me scheduled for the very next day. They went above and beyond to locate, went out of their way to pick up the needed parts after inspection. I received text updates and photos throughout the entire process, start to finish. James and his crew were great. Another company had tried to diagnose the problem and suggested replacing the line set between the indoor and outdoor units. I had concerns with this plan and the logic since the unit had been in service for 7 years. James examined the line set and confirmed with the manufactures specs that it was correct and not the problem. Upon further diagnostic James found a small leak in the coil. Ultimately Folsom Lake Heating & Air replaced the indoor coil with a larger more efficient coil. This solved the actual problem and will result in a system that works better than new. ~ Audrey

Folsom Heating and Air was absolutely AMAZING! I called them on a Sunday evening of a holiday weekend and they eagerly answered the phone and wanted to help!!! They showed up late in the evening and did everything they possibly could to get me cold air, they didn’t leave my house until 930!!! This type of service is beyond AMAZING and very hard to come by nowadays. I am not one to write reviews, but I absolutely highly recommend this very friendly, professional company. From the owner on the phone, she was extremely sweet, kind, understanding, and she totally went above and beyond in providing me service to Paul the service tech who came out and was very detailed in explaining what he was doing, diagnosing the issue AND explaining the importance of maintenance. Beyond exceptional! Couldn’t have asked for a better tech or service. James is extremely knowledgeable about his trade. We have had several other big name company’s out in the past for services that merely put a bandaid on to limp our system through. Unfortunately, the repairs never held. We were told that we needed a complete new system and was 100% gonna give up on our unit and buy a brand new one until James came out and did a thorough assessment. Found the true root issue and corrected it properly. So fast so efficient and saved us a lot of heartache and money. He also took exceptional care to cleanliness through our house while he was working. I leave very few reviews, but we have had an excellent experience with Folsom Lake Heating & Air so I felt compelled to leave one. Our HVAC system is over 20 years old & just recently had multiple issues with the heating system. Jose & James both performed repairs on our system and got it back up and running. They were both extremely professional, timely, and completely transparent on the issues & pricing. My AC condenser wasn’t performing properly and I was concerned it would overheat. I had suffered a power outage the weekend before and I thought it was the cause of my AC problem. I contacted Folsom Lake Heating and Air from Yelp. I appreciated their promptness to my request and I really appreciated the technician’s attention to my needs. He listened to my concerns and my description of the problem. Through conversation and a thorough investigation we found the problem and it was resolved in a day. We had an excellent experience with folsom lake heating and air- our family had to call in last week because our air conditioner stopped blowing cold air the day before we were having company over for an extended stay. Our technician was friendly, fast and efficient. We were expecting this emergency call to cost an arm and a leg, but it was reasonably priced and they were very thorough. Our furnace stopped heating the house Dec 15 and I was frantically trying to get someone out the next day to fix it. It reached 63-64° in the morning Dec 16, as I was trying to get ready for work. Folsom Lake Heating & Air who I found on Yelp got back to me quickly and had an opening at the time I’d be home from work. James installed 3 American Standard AC units on our property. Our old units were old and needed to be replaced. It was a complex job with all of the furnaces located in the attic. He was excellent to work with and had competitive pricing and the best warranty. We have been using the system for about 4 months now and everything has been working great. I heard about James from a friend of mine, and he came out to my fifth wheel trailer and got my air conditioner all set up for me during the summer. Folsom Lake helped us come to the difficult decision of replacing our furnace. They spent considerable time trying to make our 20+ year old unit function, a job that would require some expensive parts.
